Apps Development Group Manager - C14 - TAMPA

The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
• Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
• Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
• Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in applications development
• Experience in management
• Experience managing global technology teams
• Working knowledge of industry practices and standards
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Computer Science or related field of study
• Master’s degree preferred

• Having 18+ Years of experience in software industry with primary expertise in Data warehousing technologies, with hands-on experience in Big data & designing and developing dynamic user interfaces and reporting.
• Extensive experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - including requirements, systems analysis, design, programming, testing, and implementation projects.
• Proficient experience in Web application development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery,TypeScript, Angular (4th to 16th version), and Node JS
• Experience in User interface Architecture design using Angular components.
• Expert knowledge in designing SPA and PWA using Angular, and Ngrx frameworks.
• Actively involved in using Angular, Bootstrap, and HTML5 to enable client-side data to meet. Specific criteria by applying various validation variables.
• Good understanding of using AJAX and JSON to process response data from REST API's and web services for updating UI.
• Thorough understanding of core concepts of Angular - Modules, Services, Dependency Injection, decorators, ngRx, Stored procedures, and Angular CLI.
• Having hands on experience in creating DBC (Database Configuration Files) files
• Expertise in Spark ecosystem components Spark SQL, Spark Streaming and Scala
• Experience in using Hive Query Language for data Analytics.
• Experience in Treasury technology
• Experience in Resolution and Recovery Planning Knowledge and Liquidity technology is plus.

• Hands-on experience in managing large global projects and customer interactions.
• Excellent Project management, organizational, planning and negotiation skills. Working experience with dynamic and culturally diverse environments.
• Strong team player with good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to quickly grasp new contexts. Capable of building successful, delivery focused teams.
• Ability to work in fast paced environments with competing and alternating priorities, with a constant focus on delivery. High degree of accuracy and attention to the details.
• Committed, result oriented, dedicated and hard working with a quest and zeal to learn new Technologies and undertake challenging tasks
