Global Solution Sales – Senior Vice President
Treasury and Trade Solution (TTS) sits within the Services division of Citi. TTS is a leading provider of cash management, treasury, trade, payments and commercial cards services. TTS has a global network spanning more than 100 countries and is unique in the industry for its reach, interoperability and flexibility. We provide clients with dynamic data and tools to effectively manage their portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chains.
The Global Solution Sales – Senior Vice President role is an experienced and seasoned strategic professional who has in-depth market knowledge of corporate transaction banking and trade. This role will be responsible for the delivery of these solutions to corporates head officed in Australia and New Zealand.
The successful candidate will build trusted client relationships through knowledge of the segments and trends, develop an understanding of the client’s operating model, organisation structure and transaction banking needs as well as act as the clients’ advocate within Citi to support the delivery of TTS Solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across Australia and New Zealand and be responsible for sales origination, cross-sell and retention across the portfolio.
Originate solutions for clients, working closely with Banking, Product and Operations.
Execute on the sales strategy for the business in conjunction with regional and country partners
Lead complex cash management deals end-to-end including RFP responses and client pitches, recommending innovative TTS solutions.
Maintain a pristine control environment for all issues related to business management, compliance, regulatory requirements, documentation, and training.
Review account plans to identify sales opportunities and support origination of TTS opportunities through development of thought leadership material.
Develop target list of underpenetrated names to actively focus on growing new TTS business though unsolicited bids.
Meet all sales discipline objectives tied to pipeline management, account planning and deal reviews
Work with Implementations/account managers to ensure deals closed our implemented effectively and efficiently to ensure revenue realization and ramp-up
Actively partner with product management on new developments and commercialisation opportunities within the markets.
Manage key Balance Sheet Drivers including assets and liabilities.
Manage and partner with Banking, as appropriate, on all relevant aspects of client credit risk (including credit appetite/credit commitment/returns).
Skills and experiences required:
10+ years of relevant experience
Possesses in-depth knowledge of corporate transaction banking and other banking products
Proven track record in sale of cash management, trade, and / or technology-based consulting solutions
Managed large client relationship from a banking or product perspective
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Persuasive and articulate personality
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal internally and externally with clients
Demonstrated organizational & planning skills
Ability to manage & synthesize many pieces of solution / technical data into a single, flowing solution within tight timeline
Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
