Trader - Credit Financing
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable trader to develop to join our dynamic team to push Credit Financing in the region. This professional will work on originating and structuring private credit and loans. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the evaluation, structuring, execution, and ongoing monitoring of investments across various sectors. Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of the investment process, from deal origination and structuring to execution and post-investment management.
- Evaluate creditworthiness and develop a comprehensive understanding of prospective clients' financial condition, operations, and industry.
- Structure loan and credit products to align with client needs and risk parameters, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to design, negotiate, and execute complex transaction structures.
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and risk assessments.
- Monitor and manage the portfolio post-investment, including performance tracking and compliance reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, peers, and partners, providing outstanding service and communication.
- Stay current on market trends and regulatory changes that may impact portfolio performance.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a related role, with a proven track record in credit analysis, loan origination, and structuring.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and risk assessment, with a deep understanding of credit products and financial markets.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and experience with structuring and executing complex financial transactions.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulatory environment, and risk management practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and familiarity with other financial software.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- CFA, FRM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
