JANA & Asia South Deposits & Investments Product Manager - SVP
The Deposits & Investments (D&I) Product Manager for Japan Asia North Australia (JANA) and Asia South (AS) cluster is responsible for the strategy and execution of the global D&I strategy in these clusters. This includes pricing engine rollouts, transformation of time deposits, overdrafts management, earnings credit rates programs, money market fund offerings and interest repricing initiatives. They are the focal point for D&I product management (including risk and control/compliance in the clusters) and work with sales to commercialize D&I solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Global D&I team to define the vision and strategy for D&I solutions in JANA and AS clusters.
- Partner with the Global D&I and with the LMS Cluster team to research client needs/competitor actions.
- Provide input on client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to help D&I achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients.
- Define the product development roadmap for the two cluster and advocate for the cluster at investment spend discussions.
- Oversee execution of product development roadmap for the clusters.
- Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
- Partner with technology and operations to ensure product readiness for new solutions
- Implement the D&I training roadmap in the clusters in order to ensure that sales/RMs and other client facing team are equipped with the latest information about D&I solutions.
- Provide guidance or on-the-job training to new team member.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the D&I Geography team to ensure best practice sharing and global consistency in solutions.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of product management or product development or investment management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree.
- Master’s degree is good to have.
