SVP / IT Product Owner
The IT Product Owner is a seasoned professional role that requires integrating subject matter and industry expertise within the GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) domain. This role facilitates the technology implementation of business-specific solutions by utilizing an in-depth understanding of how GRC subareas collectively integrate within sub-functions. This integration contributes to the objectives of the function and the overall business.
The IT Product Owner evaluates moderately complex and variable issues that have a substantial potential impact. Developing an approach and taking action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. This role requires strong analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential. The IT Product Owner regularly assumes informal and formal leadership roles within teams, including coaching and training new recruits. They have a significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc., by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitating services to others in their area of specialization. The work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual in this role.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead project teams, identify resource needs, and develop schedules to ensure on-time project delivery.
Strategic Alignment: Understand both local and global needs within the specific domain, ensuring alignment on strategy across teams.
Solution Implementation: Define, document, and oversee the implementation of technology solutions.
Business Impact Analysis: Conduct in-depth evaluations of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to assess impact.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, analyze, and resolve project risks and issues, minimizing potential impact.
Strategic Decision-Making: Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions within IT Project Leadership, directly impacting business outcomes.
Stakeholder Management: Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, communicating effectively with both internal and potentially external stakeholders.
Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, acting as a mentor and advisor to junior analysts.
Problem Solving and Innovation: Utilize sophisticated analytical and interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Risk-Aware Decision Making: Appropriately assess and consider risks when making business decisions.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience
GRC Domain Expertise: Proven experience and subject matter expertise within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) domain.
Technology Solution Experience: 5+ years of experience in defining and implementing technology solutions within a GRC context.
Open Pages Experience: Prior experience with Open Pages software is highly desirable.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Self-Motivation and Drive: Highly self-motivated individual with a strong drive to succeed and deliver results.
Leadership Potential: Demonstrated eagerness to learn, grow, and progress towards a leadership role within the company.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to change and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required. A Master's degree is a plus.

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
