Engineering Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Lead Analyst for its Rutherford, NJ location.

Duties: Work as part of a global team focused on enterprise scale initiatives that support developers in achieving agile project management and CI/CD goals. Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, technical projects, and in creating a technology domain roadmap. Oversee development of Java APIs including String handling, collections framework, multithreading, exception handling, generics, and synchronization. Ensure integration of functions meet business goals and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Recommend product customization for system integration and identify problem causality, business impact, and root cause by looking at Application Performance Monitoring and logging tools. Gather application requirements, ensure delivery of high-quality software without vulnerabilities, and help design and architect applications for software that can be deployed in both on-prem and in public cloud. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing application development and analysis activities. Five (5) years of experience must include: Utilizing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design, develop, and test high-quality solutions using Java, J2EE, and Oracle; Building CI/CD pipeline using Source Code Management tool, Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker for complete end-to-end automation of application deployment; Migrating applications from On-Premises to Cloud, Amazon Web Service environment; Designing OAuth Implementation for onboarding clients/Users to an Application; Developing modeling workbench framework(s) by integrating technologies including Spring Boot, Spring Web Services, Spring Security, and Splunk to support analytical model development; and Developing and Consuming RESTful and SOAP webservices. 40 hrs./wk.
