The Transaction Svs Team Lead is an entry level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to traders, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team.The overall objective of this role is to maintain position records and provide support with processes surrounding securities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Treasury and Trade services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, etc.
  • Open and amend Letters of Credit (L/Cs), process payments and solve customer issues to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Allocate and supervise daily for a Transaction Services team engaged in performing entry level, routine clerical or processing tasks
  • Delegate and supervise tasks, utilizing in-depth knowledge of team objectives
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of how the team coordinates with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area
  • Train lower level support staff; assist with evaluating team performance and make recommendations for promotions, terminations, etc.
  • Assess hiring needs to ensure adequate staffing
  • Recommend new work procedures
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
