The DevOps Domain Lead is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to drive a variety of activities including support, engineering, automation, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology teams and Application developments teams. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Expected to have deep understanding of banking applications domain knowledge. Able to lead a domain completely for run the bank and build the bank activities efficiently.
  • Evaluate team’s performance, motivate &  coach team members, monitor quantity and quality of work.
  • Serve as a consultant to management on long term system strategies and oversee a specific product line, ensuring delivery is timely and budget targets are met
  • Own projects end to end and environment Setup which includes  VM setup, disk allocation, Java/jdk, MW & required tools & software installation & setup,  ECS onboarding and Migration, CICD pipeline setup & enhancements, CyberArk FID/Agent onboarding ,  PWP,  IONIC, CCP Agent Setup,  Cluster / Webserver setup , NDM/SFTP setup,  Schema Setup ORASSA (also have good understanding on Mongo/MySQL & DB2 databases),  Network setup (LB/VIP),  CAP Mitigation & PCM Documents,  SiteMinder to Secure SSO migration and Capacity Planning.
  • Provide conceptual analyses for a variety of broad based and complex issues. Able to articulate and present in senior management calls.
  • Need experience in automating redundant tasks and delivering productivity saves. Deep knowledge in using and understanding AI for automating Developer Operations. Ensure to adopt all modernization initiatives to simplify DevOps operations. Perform POC and new initiatives across all applications and regions.
  • Ensure that managed products are operationally ready and in line with organizational operational standards for ongoing operation and support as well as ensuring that technology standards for managed products are published and communicated appropriately
  • Understand the landscape and industry for vendor’s product lines and act as consultant to identify new vendor opportunities and vendor entry or exit strategies for managed product lines
  • Ensure that processes and procedures within the managed function are compliant with Citi policy and maintain appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs
  • Responsible for budget oversight, planning, policy formulation, and managing technology risks within the assigned portfolio
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking domain and technology management role.
  • Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
  • Project Management and DevOps experience
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
  • Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills for resolving issues.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Proven track record of operational process change and improvement

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
