This is a seasoned professional role within Citi’s USPB COO organization. This role is within the Third Party Risk Oversight (TPRO) team and is titled as a Senior Third Party Risk Analyst (TPRA). The TPRA is responsible for various risk and control monitoring processes related to third parties. The TPRA is focused on analyzing data from various third party evaluations, monitoring resolution of third party Issues (Follow-Up items, iCAPs, Supplier Complaints, etc.), acting as a SME and key resource for ensuring Third Parties, Business Activity Owners (BAOs), and other key stakeholders are compliant with the Third Party Risk Management Policy and Citi Supplier Standards (and other applicable Policies) by providing guidance and assistance with completion of Third Party Management (TPM) tasks, Gap Dispositions/Adverse Results, third party/BAO questions and support to their internal Peers, as needed. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead key business stakeholders through Citi’s Third Party Management framework and ensure compliance with all applicable policy and standards.  
  • Strong candidates may take on Third Party Officer roles for certain relationships within their areas of responsibility.  
  • Senior TPRAs may take on team lead responsibilities and support staff as needed.  
  • Lead strategic, cross-functional projects in support of Third Party Risk Oversight suppliers by analyzing supplier's risk profile, reporting and data as needed.  
  • Partner with the BAO and TPM, as necessary, to conduct or review and respond to the results of third party risk management control activities utilizing the various TPM systems.  
  • Review, assess and act on results of TPM assessments/controls (e.g. IS, CoB, Data Privacy, Export, Credit Risk, Country Risk, Financial Evaluations, Exit Strategy Plans, Insurance, Subcontractors, HRMP. etc).
  • Engage the Supplier and Business to monitor and report supplier complaints, complaint escalations and issues (e.g. negative media reports, supplier complaint logs, etc.).  
  • Collaborate with the Issues Management team during the implementation, follow-up and closure processes for Issue Management/ iCAPs.  
  • Support the production and maintenance of Supplier scorecards and performance monitoring. Support includes validation of source data, distribution and reporting of supplier scorecards, completion and maintenance of PMA SLAs tool, and any breaches tied to Scorecards.  
  • Maintains supplier systems of record – CASP+, TPORT and any/all other supplier databases or tools (inputs supplier information timely, accurately, and completely).
  • As appropriate, interact with broader Third Party community to share best practices, escalate as needed and coordinate services.  
  • Partner, as appropriate, with Procurement and BAO(s) to ensure all contract documents in Citi’s Contract Management System (GEP) are complete, up-to-date and accurate. Engage BAO(s) prior to contract expiration to ensure contracts are renewed on a timely basis.  
  • Provide polished content for Third Party Risk Oversight's various stakeholder/executive communications and decks.  
  • Partner with business, Compliance and other stakeholders in the design/development of Assessment of Third Party Compliance (ATPC) for in-scope suppliers, as well as ensure monitoring of the controls is executed in accordance with the plan.  
  • Lead business partners and key stakeholders through Citi’s Third Party Risk Assessment Review (TPRAP/IRQ) during sourcing, onboarding and renewal exercises, ensuring key risks are identified.  
  • Assist and coordinate internal and external audit deliverable support.  
  • Support BAOs and other business partners in onboarding new relationships and ensuring all appropriate due diligence control activities are identified and completed as appropriate 

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Compliance, Risk and Control, supplier/third party management or project management.  
  • Ability to tailor written and verbal communication to senior audiences.  
  • Must have the ability to articulate complex and sensitive issues to management, Business Activity Owners, Suppliers, and internal stakeholders.  
  • Ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional meetings and discussions. Strong candidates should display high level of attention to detail and ability to break down complex problems to drive solutions.  
  • Identify and influence improvements in department and global policies and procedures.  
  • Must be able to manage multiple, competing priorities and operate independently to deliver consistently high-quality work under tight timelines.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products critical to the role

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$107,120.00 - $160,680.00
