Position Overview:

We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Product Owner to lead the development and execution of our Next Best Action (NBA) platforms and strategy. This platform aims to deliver high quality, customized advice at scale, ensuring optimal client engagement through the right frequency and appropriate channels. In this role, you will drive the strategic vision, development, and optimization of platforms that enable personalized customer engagement and intelligent decision-making. By partnering with cross-functional teams, you will deliver scalable solutions that empower marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to provide real-time, contextually relevant actions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Vision & Strategy

  • Define and articulate a strategic vision for NBA platforms aligned with organizational goals and customer-centric initiatives.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in personalization and decisioning frameworks.

  • Develop a roadmap to enhance platform capabilities and align with broader business strategies.

Product Ownership & Development

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of NBA platforms, including ideation, design, development, and deployment.

  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and analytics teams to design robust, scalable, and innovative solutions.

  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of features that drive business value.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.

  • Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on NBA strategy and platform development priorities.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on progress and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Data-Driven Personalization

  • Oversee the integration of AI/ML models to enable dynamic decision-making and tailored customer interactions.

  • Ensure platforms leverage real-time and historical customer data to recommend optimal next actions across channels.

  • Lead A/B testing, measurement, and analysis efforts to refine strategies and maximize performance.

  • Analyze campaign performance to inform future strategies and optimizations

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards related to data privacy and ethical AI usage.

  • Establish governance practices for data quality, decisioning logic, and platform integrity.

Qualifications:

- Education:

  - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services product ownership, product manager, or related role

  • Strong background in wealth management with a deep understanding of the industry

  • Proven track record of delivering similar NBA platforms in previous roles.

  • Deep understanding of Next Best Action frameworks, decision engines, and personalization technologies.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong background in data modeling and visualization tools

  • Experience with leading digital initiatives as a product owner in agile development process

  • Strong ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to bridge technical and business priorities.

  • Extensive experience working with engineers and developers to understand what is technically possible, how to translate customer’s needs into technical requirements that deliver scalable and reliable solutions

  • Familiar with data tools and technologies (data lakes, ETLs, Hadoop, Snowflake)

  • Experience with personalization engines, idea generation, and campaign management (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder, Stensul).

  • Proven track record of problem solving,

  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with technology, legal, compliance, and risk teams to deliver results.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
