Transaction Capture - Equity Data Integrity Middle Office - VP Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading and act as an advisor or coach to new or junior staff covering full suite of Equities and Cross Assets products: Securities, Cash, Derivatives, FX, Rates, CDS, Hybrids etc
- Processing of Corporate Actions –Risk adjustment and Stock bookings on ExDate for the Trading floor
- Project manage the Corporate Action book of work, help to deliver automation. Corp Action connectivity with Back Office system – Aspen etc, Design and manage new workflows
- Oversee responses to requests and deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors specific to improving the lifecycle workflows
- Utilize knowledge of how own team coordinates with the sub function and contributes to the objectives of the overall business. Bride the knowledge gap between FO trading, Tech and Operational processing and MO functions
- Lead Middle office efforts in improving Front to Back data flows, creation of securities, data cleanup efforts, reduction of RWA usage & FRTB goals.
- Contribute to the development of new techniques and processes and for the area or function
- Evaluate complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact
- Lead ad hoc projects as required and roll out interim controls to plug gaps. Fixings, Dividends, Corp Actions, Cashflow & Quant model integration
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, identifying operational risk, trade confirmation and settlement
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in a related role
- Detailed understanding of Equity Derivative products
- Knowledge of Corp Action Processing is critical
- IT background desired – FO risk platform support, SQL/VBA skills useful
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment such as FO/MO or Risk Support
- Experienced in Derivative workflows such as Listed Securities, OTCs and Structured note understanding is desired.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct stakeholder management activities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills
- Subject Matter Expert in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas or products preferred
- Demonstrated project management skills
Education:
- Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Masters degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$116,880.00 - $175,320.00
