Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Structurer for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Originate, price, execute, and oversee risk for complex structured financial instruments including structured notes, loans, credit, rates, and foreign exchange derivatives with institutional clients based in Latin America. Generate trade documentation, reconcile books and records, and oversee daily profits and losses. Deliver structured solutions tailored to resolve client’s financial challenges while generating economic value for Citi’s stockholders and employees. Strategically hedge risk and maximize capital returns. Utilize Citi’s internal systems for market risk management, credit risk management, transaction settling, and accounting. Liaise with Citi’s salespersons, product teams, and bankers pursuing opportunities across Latin America in respect to credit solutions such as syndicated loans, funded derivatives, and credit derivatives for both sovereigns, financial institutions, and corporate clients. Perform transaction credit analysis which includes quantitative and qualitative data analysis around loans or asset side transactions and participate in credit approval committees and client solution pitches. Liaise with Markets Credit Sales specialists across regions including Latin America, Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific to facilitate the distribution/hedging of transactions through structured credit derivatives. Establish relationships and client base across Latin America including the public sector, corporations, and financial institutions for deal sourcing.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation working with complex structured financial instruments including loans, bonds, and derivatives for clients. Seven (7) years of experience must include: Pricing interest rate, credit, foreign exchange, and hybrid derivatives in Excel, Python, Monte Carlo and other valuation models; Working with fundamental discounted cash flow and financial statement modeling; Working with bonds, loans, credit default swaps, foreign exchange derivatives, and interest rate derivatives to hedge and manage risk for non-linear and complex derivative portfolios; Performing company specific quantitative and qualitative credit analysis across different industries by using tools including Bloomberg, FactSet, and REDD; and Working with capital requirements and frameworks for banks, accounting techniques, credit analysis and legal safe harbor agreements including International Swaps and Derivatives Association Master Agreement (“ISDA”), or Global Master Repurchase Agreement (“GMRA”), Master Repurchase Agreement (“MRA”), and Global Master Securities Lending Agreement (“GSMLA”). 40 hrs./wk. 35% international travel required.  Applicants submit resumes at https://jobs.citi.com/.
