Senior Vice President - RRP Policy, Procedures, and Documentation Lead
Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the firm’s recovery and resolution plans and related capabilities. The plans require development of central strategies to support timely and effective execution of various financial, legal and operational actions during periods of unprecedented stress. Development of the plans requires coordination with stakeholders across the organization, including technology, finance, treasury, operations and businesses, to ensure execution readiness. RRP sets the requirements for and reviews plan documentation to ensure that it meets regulatory guidelines and is fit for purposeto guide management and board throughout both the planning and execution phases. RRP is also responsible for identifying required capabilities necessary to support plan development and execution and for establishing the framework to support capabilities testing. Finally, RRP oversees and manages the governance process associated with plan approval and submission along with regulatory engagement for plan review and challenge.
The RRP Policy, Procedures, and Documentation Lead will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of recovery and resolution planning policies and procedures. This role ensures that all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and supports the organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Development: Lead the creation and continuous improvement of RRP policies to comply with regulatory standards and internal risk management frameworks.
Procedure Management: Develop and maintain procedures that support effective recovery and resolution planning, ensuring they are well-documented and accessible.
Documentation Oversight: Ensure all RRP documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and suitable for regulatory submissions.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units, risk management, legal, and compliance teams to integrate RRP policies and procedures across the organization.
Training and Communication: Develop training materials and conduct sessions to educate staff on RRP policies and procedures.
Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies concerning RRP documentation and policy matters.
Continuous Improvement:Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to update RRP policies and procedures proactively.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience, in recovery and resolution planning, risk management, or regulatory preferred
Experience managing governance forums and leading Steering committee
Capital and Liquidity management experience
Experience managing policy and procedures
Program and Project management experience
Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, excel, PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills to assess complex regulatory requirements and their impact on the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective policy documentation and stakeholder engagement.
Meticulous attention to detail in documentation and policy development.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
Education:
Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field preferred

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
