Program Management Lead
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Program Management Lead for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Use best practice methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/customers' needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes. Drive end results of the project as a representative of the business, while working closely with key stakeholders such as Sales, Legal & Technology teams. Communicate project milestones and status updates, as well as any existing or potential escalation issues, to all concerned parties. Constantly develop the team’s skills in project management capabilities. Define, teach, and enforce the use of good project management practices such as techniques in dividing complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored, and controlled. Constantly improve their own and the teams' skills through lessons-learned reviews at project completion. Act as team Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal project tracking system. Support the Global Lead for Client Outreach and Document Remediation. Preparation of material for all relevant senior governance forums. Prepare, maintain and submit clear and concise activity/progress reports. Deliver first class service to Sales to improve the way in which they assess the ability to carry out trades, and allow them more time for value add activities. Develop a pre-trade digital dashboard to facilitate control and enhance revenue generation. Work with Sales Management to provide a communication strategy and data analytics that will facilitate client communication and document remediation. Improve the process by which Sales request to onboard clients to remove/minimize bottlenecks, and increase Sales time for value add activities. Deliver first class client experience. Work with Legal and other support functions to develop the communication and document remediation strategy for regulatory compliance initiatives. Establish appropriate controls and service level agreements to ensure a first class experience for clients. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Law, Management Economics, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Principal Consultant or related position involving project management and change delivery in an in institutional client facing business or function in a Markets trading environment. 5 years of experience must include: Support planning, directing, and coordination of day to day activities of program management and proactively monitoring progress, risk, issues, and actions, escalating when necessary; Communicating with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and setting objectives to determine goals; Apply change management principles by understanding the impact changes on the organization as a whole and developing strategies to communicate the change and mitigate resistance to change; Identifying and mapping stakeholders, providing regular project updates and communicating changes or deviations from plan, including KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and Metrics; Budgeting and personnel management; and Preparing materials for senior governance forums.
