Operations Optimization and Enablement (OOE)
OOE is a newly formed team designed to drive change and implement Operations strategy. Operations is helping to lead the Citi transformation agenda by rapidly scaling programs of work which will redefine core operations architecture and the processes they support.
One key element of the OOE is Movement of Funds – This team plays a crucial role in managing and refining risk associated with movements of funds – covering outgoing, incoming, and internal transfers. Focused on defining a clear payment risk appetite, consolidating and reporting payment risks as a unified entity, and harmonizing controls across the enterprise. Approach includes developing a cohesive framework for risk management and reducing reliance on detective controls by implementing proactive measures. By addressing these areas, the aim is to streamline processes, enhance financial stability, and ensure consistent, effective operations throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Capability Building: Lead the development and implementation of core data analytics capabilities within our division. Define the strategic roadmap for data analytics initiatives and drive the execution of key projects to enhance our analytical capabilities.
Talent Development: Mentor, coach, and develop junior talent within the data analytics team. Provide guidance and support to foster skill development, career growth, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Data Strategy Implementation: Align data analytics initiatives with the organization's overall data strategy. Work closely with leadership to ensure that data analytics efforts are aligned with business objectives and priorities.
Collaboration and Partnership: Forge strong partnerships with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities. Collaborate closely to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business value and inform decision-making.
Value-Added Recommendations: Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for senior executive audiences. Develop compelling narratives, visualizations, and presentations to communicate insights and drive alignment on key strategic initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the data analytics team. Regularly assess and optimize processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and impact.
Qualifications:
5-10 + years of experience
Effective communication
Imaginative and practical solution design
Self-motivated, disciplined and accountable
Problem solving to address challenges, and obstacles that arise during implementation, identifying solutions and making informed decisions.
Collaborative team participant, promoting teamwork, trust, and mutual respect.
Decision making - decisive & data driven to provide clear guidance and alignment.
Adaptability: Ability to navigate the team through ambiguity and embrace change.
Technical Skills:
5-10 + years of experience
Domain expertise: Across Operations and Finance functions and tools. Expert knowledge in end-to-end transaction lifecycle process.
Change management: Large, complex implementations and transformation program expertise in finance and or operations.
Data Migration: Extensive knowledge in migration techniques and tools to ensure seamless transition of data from legacy to new GL platform.
Process Improvement: Extensive knowledge of process improvement with a track record of streamlining operational or finance process.
General ledger Expertise: Good understanding of GL, systems, their functionalities, and best practice implementing.
Business Knowledge: Knowledge of both Markets and Banking products from transaction booking to cash settlement and controls therein.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
