About the Investor Relations Team
At Citi, the Investor Relations (IR) team is responsible for effectively communicating the firm’s strategy, performance, and outlook to institutional investors, equity research analysts, and credit rating agencies. Through consistent, transparent engagement and clear financial storytelling, the IR team supports Citi’s efforts to maintain a strong, high-quality investor base, favorable credit ratings, and informed strategic decision-making. IR leads communication efforts around Citi’s quarterly earnings, fixed income investor calls, investor conferences, roadshows, and ad hoc investor meetings, while also advising senior management and the Board on investor sentiment and market perceptions.

About the Role
The Analyst will be a core member of the IR Business Execution Team, which drives execution of key initiatives, manages the Investor Relations engagement calendar, and ensures operational efficiency across the function. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this individual will help coordinate Citi’s participation in earnings cycles, investor conferences, and strategic events, while also supporting internal governance, meeting preparation, and administrative processes.

This is a high-exposure, execution-focused role suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. The Analyst will engage with a variety of stakeholders across Finance, businesses, and senior leadership, and must be comfortable managing multiple workstreams in parallel. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills and a desire to learn about Citi, financial markets, and the broader banking industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage the full earnings cycle, including timeline planning, calendar coordination, checkpoint meetings, and cross-functional tracking of deliverables; role requires in-office presence during critical prep days and the weekend before earnings
  • Own the day-of execution for earnings meetings, including confirming attendees, printing/distributing materials, and ensuring the Head of IR is fully equipped for each scheduled engagement
  • Coordinate and book investor conferences and external engagements, including attendee registration, travel and lodging logistics, and ensuring IR participants have the necessary materials and preparation
  • Assist with organizing internal IR events or leadership townhalls, including calendar holds, room booking, AV setup, and refreshments
  • Support forward planning across the IR team’s priorities, including investor engagements, offsites, roadshows, and internal leadership meetings
  • Support the Chief of Staff in governance and execution, including meeting logistics, building agendas, tracking follow-ups, liaising with subject matter experts, and distributing briefing materials
  • Maintain and update CRM databases to ensure accurate tracking of investor engagements, contact details, and inputs to the IR scorecard
  • Maintain and manage internal distribution lists to enable accurate and timely communication with key stakeholders
  • Track and process vendor invoices, ensuring timely payment and escalating any delays or issues as needed
  • Manage recurring team routines and administrative processes, including weekly agendas, note-taking, follow-ups, and document version control
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for new team members, including system access, training sessions, and team introductions
  • Support calendar management for the Head of IR or senior IR leads during peak periods like earnings or conference seasons
  • Execute ad hoc projects and provide cross-functional administrative support as needed, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the IR team
  • Ensure proper archiving of key IR documents for regulatory, audit, or reference purposes
  • Uphold Citi’s risk and control standards, demonstrating sound judgment and accountability in day-to-day activities and escalation processes

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in project management and coordinating big projects and/or finance
  • Strong interest in financial markets, banking, and corporate strategy
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive, "can-do" attitude
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$86,330.00 - $120,470.00
