Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading the NAM America Private Bank across 29 offices, and driving the execution against our strategy, goals and objectives within a strong control environment.

  • Partner across the broader firm and Wealth’s regional and product heads to deliver responsible revenue growth, profitability and momentum for the Private Bank.
  • Oversee operations to insure production efficiency, appropriate controls, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources
  • Ensure that the business operates in accordance with applicable regulations and Citi policies
  • Implement procedures and practices to manage operational risk and minimize operational losses
  • Represent the NAM Private Bank at appropriate legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions
  • Promote the Citi Private Bank to local, regional, national and international constituencies
  • Direct Citi Private Bank planning and policy making committees
  • Ensures that the Leadership Team model and build a culture of internal excellence at all levels, influencing through their positive leadership behaviors, the conversion of people and culture strategies, into reality.
  • Provides the mandate and executive leadership for management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice.
  • The Head of NAM will report to the Global Head of the Private Banking, and will be a member of the Private Bank’s Global Leadership Team

Qualifications:

  • Senior business leader, with a proven track record in leading operating businesses in large organizations, relationship building and people management
  • Proven execution skills in prior assignments
  • Strong understanding CPB products and deep knowledge of Citi network
  • Licensing requirements:  Series 7, 66 and 24

Success Factors / Requirements:

  • Seasoned business leader with experience designing and driving the strategy for large / complex businesses in multiple geographies
  • Exemplary leadership skills to engage diverse teams to partner and work together
  • Proven Risk Management Skills to drive the business with safety and soundness
  • High work ethics to foster a culture of integrity
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across Citi, including credibility with Independent Risk
  • High level of curiosity to continuously identify market trends and disruptions that impact PB in the region and/or its clients and ability to shift strategy to stay competitive
  • Strong execution and implementation ability
  • Ability to evaluate multiple long and short-term strategies and priorities and effectively make tradeoffs to achieve aggressive business goals

$250,000.00 - $500,000.00
