Executive Decision Support – Expenses - Senior Lead Analyst - SVP(C14) - NEW YORK
The Executive Decision Support Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing management with Expense analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citi’s current and projected performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination and preparation of Senior Management expense presentation material and talking points for internal or external meetings
- Lead creation of Citi financial reports and liaise with finance teams to provide a summary of financial trends and insight to senior management
- Lead expense analysis of forecasts, strategic and operating plans, and create monthly outlooks in partnership with segment and business financial planning and analysis teams
- Prepare expense analytics in support of CEO Reviews including business initiatives
- Generate expense analytics for quarter end flash results, related highlights, board of directors reports, and executive management reports as well as contribute to quarterly competitor reviews, quarterly annotated supplement, and quarterly investment reports
- Develop relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision making
- Prepare expense presentations and analysis for the team and in support of the CFO
- Lead ad-hoc analysis for Citi Senior Management by performing one-time reviews and analysis on areas of Management focus
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience within financial services
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in additional systems including Oracle, Essbase, and SAP
- Highly articulate in verbal presentations and written communications, with ability to adapt the style to suit the audience
- Superior problem-solving abilities, project management, teamwork, quantitative aptitude and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues
- Strong communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior level executives
- Demonstrated financial modeling skills with the ability to drive top down strategic and operational plan
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and interact at all levels of an organization
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
