Clean Energy Finance (CEF) – Director / VP
Citi’s Clean Energy Finance (CEF) team is seeking to fill roles in its team to support its tax equity and tax credit transfer mandates.
About CEF
CEF has extensive expertise in originating, structuring and executing financings across various renewable energy & sustainable technologies, including Wind, Solar (Utility Scale PV, Distributed PV, Residential Rooftop PV, CSP and Thermal), Energy Efficiency, and Other Emerging Technologies.
CEF originates, structures and places tax equity for issuers in wind, solar, and other clean energy sectors. Tax equity is a form of financing, germane to the US market, where an investor’s return is largely derived from the tax benefits and credits generated by the qualifying facility. These investments are most commonly structured as partnership or lease equity interests through which the tax benefits and credits are transferred to the tax equity investor and monetized.
The CEF portfolio includes tax equity investments in utility scale wind and solar projects, tax equity investments in pools of Distributed Generation or Residential Rooftop solar PV systems, and related back leverage debt facilities.
