The Request for Proposal (RFP) Writer works with the Head of RFPs to service the needs of Citi Global Wealth Investments (CGWI) and Citi Private Bank (CPB) sales teams, private bankers, and investment counselors across a large global organization.

In this role, the RFP Writer is responsible for responding to proposals for CGWI & CPB’s various product offerings including: investment management, banking, advisory, custody, escrow, financing, etc. Additionally, the RFP Writer collaborates with the Head of RFP to establish and maintain the firm’s RFP library, statement of capabilities proposals, sample RFP modules, as well as tracking and reporting.

The successful candidate is detail oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills; able to prioritize requests and work on multiple tasks to ensure RFPs and projects are completed within a given deadline.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Write high quality RFPs that are compelling to read, client-focused and accurately reflect our wide range of product offerings across our global institutional and retail channels.
  • Partner with stakeholders to determine request priorities and deadlines.
  • Coordinate content from various sources and collaborate with stakeholders/Subject Matter Experts to develop new content as needed.
  • Build an understanding of CGWI & CPB’s various client archetypes and their differing needs and levels of sophistication, to tailor responses within proposals for the target audience
  • Understand and write clear, concise responses regarding our investment processes, financial solutions, banking products and services.
  • Ensure consistent tone and product messaging.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the firm’s RFP library and sample RFP modules; and maintain content within the firm’s database.
  • Assist the creation of RFP tracking and reporting; and maintain reporting data.
  • Assist with other projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years of relevant institutional RFP writing experience for Multi-Asset Class, Fixed Income and Equity products preferred.
  • BA/BS degree required. MBA a plus.
  • Financial market awareness and understanding of basic banking and financial concepts.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Must work well in a team environment, excellent interpersonal skills to engage senior professionals and liaise with global teams across the firm.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
  • Flexibility to work on competing priorities and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (intermediate/advanced skills); Qvidian

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
