Responsibilities
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and transformational leader to serve as the Head of Program Management, Governance & Agile Transformation. This senior leader will oversee the execution, governance, and delivery methodology for strategic wealth management initiatives and large-scale programs in a simpler, faster, more transparent, and risk-controlled manner.
This role will reignite our delivery methodology to meet the ambitions of wealth leadership and business goals, driving efficiency, reducing costs, and enabling net new investment asset growth. The individual will shape a best-in-class execution and governance model, ensuring the firms strategic objectives are delivered at speed and scale while maintaining safety, soundness, and compliance with regulatory and risk standards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, execution, and agile transformation within wealth management, investments, or broader financial services. They will have led large-scale strategic transformation programs, driving new ways of working, modernizing roles, processes, and governance frameworks, and shifting organizations from legacy delivery models to agile, outcome-driven execution.
This leader will be a change maker, capable of managing complex, global, multi-functional programs requiring coordination across internal and external stakeholders. They will work directly with senior leadership, legal, risk, compliance, and governance teams to influence change while ensuring regulatory and operational integrity.
Responsibilities:
Program Management & Execution Excellence
Oversee the end-to-end execution of strategic wealth management initiatives, digital product launches, and transformation programs, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives
Lead the prioritization, sequencing, and execution of major projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with strategic goals
Act as the primary problem solver, proactively unblocking issues, resolving risks, and ensuring projects move forward efficiently
Work across product management, technology, operations, distribution, risk, compliance, and legal to ensure delivery success
Implement clear success metrics, KPIs, and transparency mechanisms to track project impact and performance
Governance, Risk & Compliance Alignment
Navigate the firms governance process, ensuring all initiatives meet regulatory, legal, risk, and compliance requirements safely and efficiently
Develop a streamlined governance execution model, reducing unnecessary complexity while maintaining strong risk controls
Build relationships with governance leads, legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders to influence process improvements that accelerate business execution
Oversee approvals, regulatory submissions, and launch readiness, ensuring timely delivery without compromising risk standards
Agile Transformation & Ways of Working
Lead the end-to-end agile transformation, ensuring all functions including technology, design, product management, business stakeholders, operations, functional partners, and governance to operate in a fully agile model
Establish a new operating model and execution framework for modern agile delivery, driving adoption across all stakeholders
Implement scaled agile principles, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and iterative delivery across business and technology teams
Drive continuous improvement in ways of working, ensuring agile principles are embedded beyond technology teams into broader business, product, and operational workflows
Define agile training programs, coaching leaders and teams on adopting modern execution methodologies
Strategic Change Leadership & Organizational Transformation
Reimagine program management and execution roles, responsibilities, and workflows, ensuring teams are structured for maximum impact and efficiency
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation, ensuring all teams operate with a delivery-first mindset
Influence and challenge senior stakeholders, bringing the courage to disagree, defend perspectives, and push for necessary changes, while also demonstrating the maturity to accept alternative decisions to move programs forward
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing clear and actionable recommendations on delivery optimization, program execution, and governance enhancements
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in program management, transformation leadership, and agile execution within wealth management, investments, or broader financial services
Proven experience leading large-scale, strategic transformation programs for a global wealth management firm
Expertise in program governance, risk management, and compliance alignment, ensuring safe and compliant execution
Strong experience driving end-to-end agile transformation, including organizational structure changes, new operating models, and execution frameworks
Experience aligning governance models with scaled agile execution frameworks to increase delivery speed while maintaining risk controls
Ability to redefine and modernize legacy processes, structures, and methodologies, transitioning teams to a streamlined, modern, and agile delivery model
Familiarity with AI-driven project execution tools, automation, and digital collaboration platforms to streamline execution
Experience managing complex, multi-functional global programs, balancing competing priorities, stakeholders, and resource constraints
Ability to work directly with C-level executives, managing expectations, providing strategic recommendations, and influencing critical business decisions
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a track record of delivering measurable business impact
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
