Banking Business Execution - Sr. Analyst, AVP
Banking Business Execution (BBE) is responsible for developing and executing the integrated Banking strategy, managing common capabilities, and driving cross-business initiatives to achieve simplification, increased productivity and efficiency.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst AVP within the Banking Performance and Analytics (BP&A) team. Our team is responsible for Banking performance analytics and support of key business initiatives. We provide reports and analyses on the performance of the Banking franchise and individual bankers (through the banker scorecards). We manage key tools and platforms used for reporting and analytics within Banking (e.g., Toolbox) and create data standards for reporting on both internal and external data sources. We operate as a global team and projects typically involve collaboration between colleagues in New York, London and Mumbai. We work with all Global Banking offices as well as many of the product partners and support teams worldwide, including HR, Technology, Compliance and Finance. Ability to quickly master a variety of technology tools and systems, strong communication and presentation skills, numerical proficiency and attention to detail will all be critical for success in the role.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data to produce analytics for senior management, and putting these into high quality presentation outputs
Project management to deliver new functionalities and enhancements in partnership with technology
Needs analysis & developing requirements
Workflow and interface design
User acceptance testing
Rollout, including training and support for business users
Maintain data quality, overseeing enhancements, troubleshooting and assisting with the production of new reports.
Partner with bankers and business management to support our reports and products, provide training and escalation, and respond to ad-hoc requests
Help our Global helpdesk escalate issues or problems to resolution
Work with Business Execution leads to streamline processes, technology, and build consistent policies and procedures across individual businesses
Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development among junior team members
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of relevant experience
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Thoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
Experience with some of the following analytics tools is preferred: SQL, Tableau, VBA, Python, MicroStrategy
Ability to learn quickly and develop expertise on multiple systems and processes
Ability to deliver in a timely manner and prioritize across multiple ongoing activities
Energetic, self-motivated and effective under pressure – must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast -paced and demanding work environment
Technically skilled with the ability to problem solve and think creatively to find solutions and identify best practice.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Education:
Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

$109,120.00 - $163,680.00
