SVP Rewards Optimization Product Development
Citi’s United States Personal Bank (USPB) has a unique opportunity to leverage its consumer relationships, customer base, footprint, state of the art technology and leading consumer banking position to deliver customer value in a targeted and impactful way. We are seeking to hire a SVP Rewards Optimization Product Development position to be part of the USPB Cards Pricing and Statement Operations team.
The SVP, Rewards Optimization Product Development position will report to the Head of Pricing Strategy and Optimization for USPB Cards (Branded Cards and Citi Retail Services) and will be responsible for the design, build, and implementation of new Rewards Optimization strategies and initiatives. This will include partnering with key stakeholders to define and write product requirements, and working with Tech to deliver features with high quality for Rewards Optimization initiatives. This role will require significant interaction with Technology and requires strong credit card/rewards and technical expertise, as well as excellent partnership skills to work cross functionally across the organization and with functions such as Product, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a feature backlog for Rewards Optimization
- Manage multiple Rewards Optimization projects simultaneously through ideation, defining and grooming requirements, governance reviews and approvals, build, testing, and launch
- Prepare and present Rewards Optimization recommendations to leadership and collaborate cross functionally to drive business decisions
- Update senior leaders on progress and influence the organization to support the Rewards Optimization agenda
- Work closely with internal and external business partners including Technology and Product teams in designing, building, implementing, and testing new strategies and enhancements
- Create well-defined business requirements/user stories and testing criteria
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high quality
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience (product development or technology experience preferred, credit cards and rewards experience a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Ability to engage with diverse internal stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, oversight functions, etc.) and manage through influence
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and application to existing Cards business processes
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a matrixed environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate complex topics to key stakeholders at both business and technical levels
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills to be able to respond quickly and creatively to complex issues
- Ability to partner with and lead a large cross functional team to drive results
- Will to win and desire to have fun

$156,160.00 - $234,240.00
