The Balance Sheet Mgmt Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. This role reports to the Head of Strategy & Decision Support within the USPB & Wealth Business Treasury.
Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter expert for interest rate risk and the measurement at the product /business level
- Lead the review of IRR risk metrics, including NII and EVE sensitivities. Provide effective challenge to risk metrics that is reported monthly, ensure accuracy, and enhance review process. Provide summary of issues, review items to support Business Treasury attestation of Risk Metrics
- Perform review and reconciliation on balance data, help detect potential reporting issues and assist in data quality and reporting enhancements
- Support interest rate risk analysis on balance sheet positions, earning sensitivities, and other key risk metrics.
- Support IRR assumption changes and implementation. Participate in deposit beta review process.
- Lead collaboration with Treasury IRR team in the roll-out and implementation of new models, provide input from business perspective
- Lead Collaboration with the Risk Reporting teams, help highlight and support resolution of issues identified and provide recommendations for process improvements
- This position will require both individual analytical work as well as partnership across teams/ regions
- Assist in ad-hoc analysis
- Build prototype analytical tools that help understand and explain interest rate dynamics and assess impact of new methodologies/frameworks
- Leads team decisions including project prioritization, platform direction, and future state planning and strategic direction.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of Treasury and Bank Balance Sheet Management. Specific qualifications are to include:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Treasury, Finance or Business Product Management or Investment Banking
- Hands-on experience in Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book (IRRBB) preferred
- Knowledge of key Interest Rate Risk metrics (IRE, EVS) , working knowledge of Citigroup Financial Systems (PEARL / RUBY etc.) preferred
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving capacity within an unstructured and dynamic environment
- Product and/or project management experience including the ability to translate analytical frameworks into business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to concisely communicate analytical objectives, observations and relevance of findings across the organization in written, visual (graphical) and verbal form
- Comfortable explaining findings, project plans and project status to senior management
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Proven leadership skills and intellectual capacity to manage multiple work streams
Education:
- Undergraduate/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Math or Economics with 5+ years of relevant work experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
