Responsibilities

The Strategy Execution Lead is a senior-level position responsible for driving the successful execution of enterprise-wide strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and a high standard of operational excellence.

This individual will play a key role in translating strategic initiatives into actionable plans, monitoring progress, and guiding teams across the organization to achieve targeted outcomes. These initiatives may include managing internal audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The ideal candidate has a blend of operational expertise and strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams to drive transformation and continuous improvement.

  • Strategy Execution: Support end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives. Implement a roadmap for achieving key performance indicators and strategic milestones.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement: Work with senior leaders across business units to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives. Communicate and present project updates, performance metrics, and insights to executive leadership. Embed a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, fostering collaboration across the organization.

  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and implement best practices across the enterprise. Embed frameworks and methodologies for consistent delivery, performance tracking, and risk management. Continuously assess program impact to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Change Management & Communication: Champion change management practices, creating buy-in and engagement across teams impacted by strategic initiatives. Develop communication plans to inform stakeholders at all levels about progress, key achievements and challenges.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to monitor, analyze and make informed recommendations to drive program success. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years relevant experience in strategy execution, program management or operational excellence roles, preferably in banking, financial services or consulting
  • A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services
  • Proven track record of successful support and delivery within large-scale enterprise-wide strategic initiatives
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision making.
  • In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Management and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly
  • Methodical, attention to detail

Education:

•              Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

•              Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
