Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations.

We’re currently looking for a high calibre professional to join our team as a Director, Controllers System and Data Operations - Ledger: Strategic Ledger Operations Lead - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Fin Solutions Sr Group Manager - C15) based in Taguig, BGC, Metro Manila or Mumbai, India.

The Strategic Ledger Operations Lead as part of the CSDO-Ledger function will design, build and operate the target-state Strategic Ledger Operations by partnering with our vendor(s), and provide ongoing oversight/leadership for continuous improvements & future implementations of the Oracle Strategic Ledger.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Drive the design & implementation of a forward-looking and “fit-for-purpose” Oracle Ledger Operations model that can be applied for the Strategic Ledger from inception i.e., Citibank NA UK roll out.

• Partner with the Citi Strategic Ledger Program and our vendor (Accenture) on finalizing Interaction Model and RACI for CSDO Ledger Operations, and ensuring that all required procedural documentations - Runbook, SOPs, etc. are finalized prior to go live.

• Be accountable to review the test scenarios and ensure that the UAT for Ledger Operations functions is successfully executed.

• Implement the chatbot interface (i.e. Luci Chatbot) and ensure readiness of L0 Incidents for Strategic Ledger.

• Accountable for the readiness and smooth cutover to production of Ledger Operations Functions.

• Ensure there is continuous governance and oversight on vendor, including Monitor Vendor performance (i.e. metrics, SLA) and reviewing billing/invoices.

• Accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.

• Establishes consistent processes and a strong control environment, review procedures and MCA assessments for Strategic Ledger Ops.

• Ensures that financial controls are in place for all key processes and that any control weaknesses are appropriately addressed and escalated.

• Understands the impact of new requirements and comply with new control requirements.

• Drives process improvement and changes in strategic direction and help in defining the operating model for the daily ledger initiative.

• Establishes and monitors the group’s operational and organizational metrics, KRIs and SLAs and recommend actions, as necessary.

• Regularly interacts with peers within the company and externally, including regulators and professional organizations.

• Manage a sub-Infrastructure unit or specialist function, including non-employees.

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Relevant years of experience, particularly with Oracle Ledger/Financials implementations and/or Operations

• Expertise on financial system data flow and ledger operations

• Knowledge of US GAAP and Familiarity with finance functions

•  Bachelor’s/University degree
