The Global Sales Management (GSM) team in CCB is focused on improving CCB productivity by deploying best-in-class digital tools, creating indispensable insights and building a robust business development program. The GSM team is looking for a VP to help drive our sales and client data analytics workstreams. This position will be tasked with developing and delivering impactful, data driven insights and playing an integral role in expanding our global CCB Tableau platform. The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly partner with multiple internal stakeholders to analyze large data sets from various sources and clearly communicate actionable information to senior business leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead ad hoc analyses aimed to support the acquisition and deepening of client relationships and improve banker productivity. Key deliverables include providing actionable insights on new client acquisitions, client life cycle trends, banker activity, win rates, speed to conversion, acquisition quality, etc.
  • Project manage critical initiatives on CCB’s global Tableau platform. Responsibilities include engaging with senior management and senior stakeholders on conceptual discussions, developing analytics to solve the problem statement, creating and documenting requirements, working closely with CCB technology partners to deliver user friendly dashboards, educating bankers and others users on dashboard utilization.
  • Embed globally standardized key data concepts across CCB global sales organizations i.e. client coverage target operating model, banker productivity, global relationship corridor heat mapping, etc.
  • Lead the scorecard process for CCB client coverage teams (RMs, Team Leaders) across all segments by aligning on KPIs with CCB global leadership, coordinating the goal setting process, partnering with multiple teams to source accurate data, and driving the Tableau dashboard design process with technology partners.
  • Support the evolution of CCB’s Tableau platform through the automation of recurring offline reporting, constant engagement with users, and by maintaining a sharp focus on user experience and data accuracy.
  • Drive a continuous improvement process across Tableau, with ongoing communications between core users such as bankers and business management teams to share best practices and develop platform enhancements
  • Support partner teams with KPI data leveraged for monthly and quarterly business reviews, senior management presentations, global town halls, etc. 
  • Build strong and sustainable relationships with partners across all functions and at all levels within the organization

Qualifications:

  • Substantial Previous experience in financial services
  • Skills to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously, mixing long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands
  • Ability to create support and buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders; create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, and senior decision makers
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and written/verbal communication and presentation skills and comfort in interacting with Senior Management
  • Ability to analyze various sources of information to tell a narrative around trends and opportunities
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Strong abilities in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior Tableau or other data visualization platform experience is preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
