The LOB Enablement Lead is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a department to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology, Product & Line of Business Heads. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities through to implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute technical delivery for Business Enablement organizations (Wealth, Banking, Spread, CCR, Loan Operations) responsible for LOB relationship and collaboration across multiple Technology Partners
  • Manage regulatory agenda in line with broader business goals to ensure consistent, auditable delivery with governance and adherence to Technical Architecture standards.
  • Develop strategic direction of the applications development function aligning overall goals with budget, policy and organizational structure
  • Drive effective, efficient and quality technical delivery through budget metrics, agile delivery metrics and Engineering Excellence metrics.
  • Deliver cost savings and greater efficiency through innovation, process improvement, simplification of the technology stack and strategic outsourcing, and vendor partnerships
  • Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
  • Manage a large applications development functional area through global functional managers
  • Lead/manage a global technology organization where evaluations direct performance and considerable importance is given to recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations, and other personnel actions
  • Develop roles, responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • 10+ years of managerial experience
  • Experience in a senior technology leadership role
  • Experience working with senior business partners and stakeholders
  • Experience facing off to external Regulators
  • Advanced knowledge of industry practices, standards, rules, and regulations
  • Working knowledge of risk and control
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development processes and practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of architecture, complex systems, and key technology areas within funds administration
  • Ability to build and maintain peer and business relationships

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$250,000.00 - $500,000.00
