As a Supply Chain Lead Sourcing Analyst within Citi’s Procurement and Third Party Risk Management Organization, you will become a member of a high-performing Sourcing and Procurement team that identifies and leads strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives focused on the Software and IT Professional Services expense categories.  The successful candidate will have experience leading sourcing initiatives and negotiating contracts across IT products and services, in particular for Software and IT Professional Services in a complex multinational organization. The overall objective of this role is to acquire Technology goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's Functions Technology & IT organizations

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Establish strong relationships with internal business / IT functional stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned projects, suppliers and/or spend categories.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s policies and procedures related to supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management, ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the end-to-end process.
  • Develop and manage RFP processes to support business, category and project strategies
  • Perform financial analysis including demand scenario modeling, P&L impact analysis and benchmark comparisons to support supplier selection and negotiation processes
  • Develop, lead and/or manage a portfolio of initiatives across the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process
  • Lead the development and execution of negotiation strategies for assigned projects
  • Lead contract negotiations, partnering with Legal and business function, to optimize overall value including financial outcomes, service levels and risk mitigation
  • Manage supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost.
  • Lead and/or participate in global category forums maintaining high level sourcing processes and team
  • Develop and/or implement market analyses/benchmarking processes and leverage key insights to inform and support the category strategy development process
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferred
  • Experience in sourcing or procurement in a large, multi-national organization
  • Experience in leading strategic sourcing programs
  • Experience in complex deal structuring, negotiations, and contracting
  • Advanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and eProcurement tools (e.g Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFx)
  • Demonstrated strategic sourcing/procurement, stakeholder management, relationship management, and influencing skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
