KYC Project Manager supports development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi. This role requires experience leading tech and process improvement initiatives to completion, working with KYC Operations, Technology partners and other supporting functions in setting book of work priorities, gathering requirements, supporting operational readiness and testing for assigned enhancements. This position also requires ability to use project management tools and KYC systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Leads business transformation and reengineering on multiple large-scale engagements; provide on-the-ground support and leadership for key reengineering initiatives
  • Ability to comprehend new technology strengths and weaknesses to effectively match technology to possible business solutions
  • Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function
  • Coordinate activities of the project team, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.
  • Responsible for documenting project progress and required artifacts.
  • Document process workflows associated with projects.
  • Create, maintain and present materials to stakeholders
  • Support project management activities such as planning, risk and issue resolution, dependency management
  • Identify potential process opportunities through investigations and in conjunction with business and operations efficiencies objectives.
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization and establish close working relationships
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years relevant experience in Program/Project management in medium to large scale initiative engagements
  • AML/KYC experience preferred.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and has high attention to details.
  • Innovative thinker that will challenge the status quo.
  • Strong written/verbal communications skills; must be concise, articulate, and persuasive with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions and the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.
  • Able to influence key decisions using factual data points.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and has high attention to details.
  • Highly motivated, organized and methodical
  • Logical, analytic and rational
  • Demonstrated team player


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Project management certification (PMP, Prince or equivalent) desired

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
