Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst - VP- JACKSONVILLE/OFALLON/JOHNSTON CITY
Brief Description of the Organization:
The Citi Controls – End User Computing (EUC) Governance team is responsible for the development of consistent principles and standards to govern and manage End User Computing (EUC) and and IT Enabled Smart Solutions (ITeSS) in a consistent manner across Citi. The team partners with the businesses and functions to drive continuous development of enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, and processes, and develop consistent approach and practices. The team is also responsible to measure policy adherence and remedial actions associated with Policy adherence as well as drive the progress of the EUC program.
This role requires someone who is dynamic, flexible, and can easily respond to quickly changing needs. The candidate must have the ability to handle ambiguity and complexity and be able to deliver on multiple responsibilities. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others.
Responsibilities:
- Drive action planning and implementation of EUC & ITeSS related regulatory and management control initiatives across the Firm by directly engaging with senior leaders and their teams across multiple businesses and functions as well as second and third lines of defense.
- Provide expertise on EUC & ITeSS framework including design, effectiveness, monitoring and assessment processes
- Oversight and analysis of EUC & ITeSS-related issues, tracking of ownership and target dates and associated metrics and reporting
- Support and coordinate with business lines and global functions on enterprise EUC & ITeSS governance framework roll out, including changes to key risk indicators and control framework
- Manage and oversee Quality Assurance (QA) review processes of in-scope EUCs & ITeSS across Citi businesses and functions.
- Identification and escalation of emerging risks or gaps resulting from QA findings and other engagements with business partners in support of root cause analysis.
- Focus on continuous control improvements across all areas to ensure continued improvement of the control framework in an efficient, cost effective, streamlined, and value-adding manner.
- Gather and synthesize enhancements on existing EUC & ITeSS Governance and Oversight principles, policies, practices and standards, e.g., understanding industry best practices
- Produce recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes and practices
- Determine requirements for and prioritize development of new enterprise-wide principles, policies, processes and practices as needed
- Develop and manage approach for measuring adoption of principles, policies, processes and practices
- Prepare and present recurring updates for executive management and sectors, tracks progress and issues managed by other areas such as business, technology, and senior management to identify emerging risks.
- Review regulatory changes and assess the impact and implications to Businesses/Functions to determine the applicability to the EUC & ITeSS Program.
- Assess tooling and workflow performance and seek process efficiencies
- Lead and support development of EUC & ITeSS communications on key risk and control topics and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant experience in a Data Governance, Process Engineering, Risk Management, Compliance, Regulatory Engagement or related area
- Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
- Requires basic commercial awareness
- Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills for EUC solution identification, implementation and tracking of effective remediation, and design of sustainable processes.
- Strong communication (written and oral), reporting, presentation and influencing skills. Proven ability to author clearly written communications for senior management (Samples of prior work may be requested).
- Fluent with Microsoft Office suite to include SharePoint.
- Knowledge of program/project and operational management frameworks (e.g. PMP, LEAN, Agile, Six Sigma) is a plus.

- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
