Relationship Manager - C12 - ISTANBUL
Global Network Banking (GNB) serves selective number of world leading corporations that demand the highest standards and world class quality coverage. The Relationship Manager (RM) will be responsible for a portfolio of Multinational Corporate Subsidiaries based in Turkey.
The RM is a GNB coverage officer responsible for multi-product relationships with the goal of strengthening the client relationship and satisfaction by working closely with product partners across Corporate Banking and elevating the presence of Citi and GNB within the Country through disciplined calling and client events. The Relationship Manager is the key client contact point & ultimately responsible for all aspects of the relationship with the customer, including revenue generation, sales and overseeing service provision, compliance and risk management.
Responsibilities:
-Partner with Parent Account Manager (PAM) teams at the headquarters level, Risk, Service Organization, Product and Sales teams to achieve the best solutions for portfolio of clients.
-Prospect new clients and acquire new business from these clients building up local/regional relationships.
-Perform financial and operational investigations, including credit, foreign exchange, cash management and trade services, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction
-Ensure full connection with all compliance and risk management policies.
-Improve knowledge of clients' needs from information sharing, and regular client calling program.
-Enhance collaboration across product and customer groups.
-Partner with product specialists to drive overall client satisfaction, build client loyalty, and respond to client escalation issues.
-Understand the dynamics of the local financial markets, banking industry and regulatory environment.
-Manage clients’ expectations and effectively engage in difficult discussions with clients.
-Partner with Product Partners and Relationship Managers to perform various activities for Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, including timely origination, monitoring, renewals and completion across all product and marketing levels.
-Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience of 5 to 7 years in banking or financial services with client management and/or sales responsibilities
- Consistently client focused and results oriented
- Proven planning, negotiation and analytical skills
- Demonstrated information resourcefulness and a high level of attention to detail
- Consistently demonstrate follow-up and organizational skills
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

- Consistently demonstrate a professional attitude
- Strong computer skills with experience working in Windows environment (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Turkish and English
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
