Corporate Banking Senior Associate is an intermediate level professional responsible for the origination and execution of both flow and episodic transactions involving Türkiye Corporate Banking and FI clients. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk.

Responsibilities:

- Provide credit and capital structure analysis both for internal and external purposes (financial modelling as well as credit and returns analysis)

- Produce best in class presentations to support the marketing effort

- Coordinate the contribution of different partners within the firm (Investment Banking, CMO, Risk and Product teams)

- Lead the related internal approval processes

- Assist in managing the Corporate Banking and FI relationships including developing appropriate credit and marketing strategies and managing day to day relations.  

- Develop and maintain knowledge of the core product set to explore and refer opportunities.

- Maintain regular and frequent dialogue with product and risk partners to deliver against the client agenda.

- Interact with Citi’s network around the globe to ensure activities and origination work streams are co-ordinated across the franchise.

- Risk assessment and credit analysis of existing relationships including periodic review of financial results and statements to monitor operating performance, liquidity position and financial condition, peer analysis. Identify industry trends and outlook and prepare of financial projections and sensitivity analysis.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with various clients and products including capital markets, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance
  • Strong knowledge of Credit, Corporate Finance and Financial Modeling.
  • Strong people skills – building a rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, MBA or Master's Degree in Business preferred
