Wholesale Lending Product Manager - AVP
We are actively seeking an energetic and innovative Jr. Product Manager to join mission to transform how Citi manages Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR).
A new organization named Institutional Credit Management (ICM) was recently formed to transform the way Citi manages the extension of wholesale credit to institutional clients. ICM is a global group focused on re-imaging credit control process, policies, and technology to manage the wholesale lending process end to end. Within ICM we are responsible for building a comprehensive platform that will create a user centric experience that meets the needs across differing business lines, regions, and regulatory demands.

This role will work in collaboration with cross-functional and cross-business stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the initiative. To be successful in this role, the candidate will have previously worked in an agile focused development organization, with experience driving technology change in an iterative manner. The candidate will be a seasoned user experience design professional who can partner with technology to transform WCR activities in scope for ICM.
ICM Credit Risk Activities in Scope for Transformation:
- Originations & Amendments – Transformation of the deal management lifecycle from prospecting through underwriting, credit administration, and booking operations
- Periodic Assessment and Client Monitoring – Transformation of the credit review processes including Annual Reviews and Problem credit management
- Portfolio Limit Setting and Management – Transformation of how Citi Manages Limits across Lending and Counter Party Credit products, including implementation of a comprehensive monitoring structure
- Client Management and Servicing – Transformation of how our clients interact with Citi to execute on their business operation needs, including statements, draws, etc.
- Core Services – Transformation of the underlying foundation, data, and functional services that support the above business activities (e.g. Financial Spreading, Collateral Management, Covenant Monitoring, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support digital transformation by re-engineering operational business processes through process visualization and documentation exercises
- Challenge current state to design a target state that drives controls, efficiency, and a better user experience
- Lead end users through training, user testing and desktop procedure updates
- Participate in design workshops that enable collaboration and conceptual solutions, while serving diverse personas
- Translate requirements into detailed user stories that can be leveraged to drive software development
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in business or technology related field
- 2+ Years of experience in a front office, middle office, or operational capacity supporting the credit lifecycle execution or related transformation efforts in wholesale lending
- Credit knowledge and /or wholesale lending experience
- Consulting experience/background a plus
- Transformation project experience
- Experience in executing technology change, either as an end user, product manager, or business analyst
- Familiarity with the different software development methodologies and project management concepts for managing change in technology (e.g., requirements creation, feature identification, and user story writing)
- Demonstrated ability to translate end user needs into tangible work products that technology engineers can move forward to develop (e.g. Process Flows, Requirements, Design Artifacts, Screen Mock Ups, etc.)
- Track record of working across multiple stakeholders and collaborating with various technology partners

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$96,400.00 - $144,600.00
