Position Summary

The U.S. Personal Bank delivers a wide array of banking, payments, lending and investment services to individual consumers and small businesses. Marketing & Franchise Development team is focused on Digital Acquisitions and Digital Sales transformation while enabling next-gen existing customer evolution. This leader would lead our Digital Marketing Platforms and Capabilities. This role is an engine of growth, and the leader would lead a team managing platform capabilities. The platform hosts an array of products across multiple lines of business (cards, personal lending) and integrated channels across owned, paid and partner media to deliver real-time prescreened and prequalified offers to prospects and existing customers. This leader would also be responsible for our Personalization engine, including vendor oversight, reporting into Head of Digital Sales and Capabilities.

SVP, Digital Marketing Platforms and Capabilities role is responsible for (1) Managing the ongoing Digital Lending Marketing capabilities delivery (2) Citi.com Personalization capabilities (3) Supporting the development of a forward-looking capabilities vision, (4) Oversee these prioritized initiatives, provide strategic direction to said initiatives, and manage a cross functional task force across various organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new digital products and strategies to ensure the Digital Sales and Acquisitions scorecards are delivered.

  • Support the exploration and development of marketing platform capability enhancements for both internal and external partners for real-time card and personal lending offers.

  • Business technologist with an understanding of real-time API driven integrations and architecture.

  • Product/platform expert and strategist who can understand the needs of Citi’s channel and technology to deliver best-in-class B2C and B2B2C capabilities.

  • Deliver both strategic and tactical recommendations and deliverables. This leader can operate both in a big picture as well as highly tactical tasks such as reviewing and enhancing product requirements documentation.

  • Accountable for planning and managing a group of related Citi and vendor coordinated technology projects or activities in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery.

  • Partner closely across the organization with cross functional teams including, Product, Channels, Operations, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, Privacy, Control, Compliance, etc.

  • Partner with US Consumer Technology, Digital teams to develop and refine product roadmaps that accelerate digital cross-sell, drive personalization and engagement, and create experiences that drive repeat and loyal buyers of Citi’s products and solutions.

  • Bring relevant competitive & industry perspectives, insights, and ideas to inform strategic roadmap.

  • Collaborate with business partners to determine growth opportunities in our acquisition and post login channels that can be improved through digital innovation or new capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, Marketing or Business, leading strategy, and execution, with demonstrable and measurable results

  • Familiarity with credit lending services/processes, credit bureau data

  • Fluent in data pipelines and connectivity, possesses an ability to create high level data process flows demonstrating how data passes through internal and external systems to create a holistic vision and design.

  • Demonstrated, multi-year experience in an agile, digital product roadmap design, data-driven personalization, digital marketing, and collaboration with engineering teams

  • Foundational paid media expertise a plus, including the ability to connect paid efforts to on-site activities.

  • Paid and owned Digital media platform/capability experience and analytic background preferable, including identity-based measurement solutions.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing and media buying platforms and technologies, including tag management solutions and data APIs, working knowledge of clean rooms a major plus.

  • Understanding of Consumer Banking products, passion around emerging technologies and how they will change consumer experiences.

  • Deep consumer product knowledge and passion around emerging technologies and how they will change consumer experiences.

  • Experienced professional demonstrating comfort and confidence presenting to internal/external partners as well as senior management.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Adobe certified professional preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
