As a Citi Independent Risk Management (IRM) Program Management Senior Lead you will be responsible for delivering complex IRM projects with minimal oversight. Success requires developing effective partnerships with IRM Seniors and other key stakeholders (e.g., technology, quality assurance, internal audit). The role requires significant firsthand Project Management experience and a track record of success. Excellent communication skills are required to present and negotiate at senior levels.

In this role, you are expected to:

  • Act as the Project Management Senior Lead responsible for end-to-end program delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to confirm program scope, secure required resources, and develop RACIs.
  • Develop and manage project plans, identify risks and issues, and execute mitigation strategies. Identify milestones, deliverables, dependencies, KPIs and other measurements to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate regulatory exams and audits.
  • Communicate program/project status to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
  • As applicable, coordinate with Technology to track spending against delivery and coordinate the annual technology investment process.
  • Adhere to Citi’s Program Management Policy & Procedures and utilize program management systems like Citi’s Program Tracking System (PTS), JIRA, etc.

As a successful candidate, you would ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 10+ years Project Management experience in Independent Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • A record of delivering complex cross-functional efforts on time and within budget.
  • Excellent understanding of PM methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
  • Experience in regulatory exam and audit management.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, and good attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, take reasoned decisions under pressure and willingness to ask questions and challenge existing processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in content creation for executive summary, senior management review packages.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
  • PMP preferred but not required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, master’s degree preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
