Citibank, N.A. seeks a Regulatory Risk Officer for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Support the Global Consumer Risk Product Approval System (WebPAS), which administers the application with over a thousand users, and ensure user's access, inquiries, and off-line approvals on behalf of the Chief Risk Officer are timely addressed and the process is aligned with approval requirements. Maintain comprehensive documentation and processes, as well as update WebPAS user support documentation, including Training, User Guide, FAQs, and Tips. Implement all system changes needed for on-going Consumer Credit Approval Transformation, including Consent Order Reengineering. Coordinate with the Global Policy team in maintaining accurate Consumer Senior Credit Officers levels in WebPAS to ensure appropriate approval workflow. Implement enhancements to Global Consumer Risk Policy Tools which support ongoing compliance and changes to policy. Work with the technology team on the re-platforming of WebPAS into the Citi Risk Retail Oversight platform (Policy Oversight). Participate in extensive detailed system walkthrough sessions, requirements gathering, and functionality reviews to ensure current functionalities are not missed or overlooked in the new re-platformed Policy Oversight tool, and additionally, maintain the existing BAU system. Responsible for the end-to-end administration, including testing, of the Credit Change Log system and evolution across all regions and businesses including oversight and support of the Quarterly Uploads and Attestations, calendar, and Reference Data Editor maintenance. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related quantitative occupation, performing risk analysis within the financial industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Validating and driving consensus on data definitions, mapping, and data rules to ensure a high standard of data quality and compliance with Retail Credit Risk, Regulatory Policy, and audit data requirements; Preparing management information decks highlighting key data points to support Senior Management in decision making; Identifying inherent risks in the Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) process to define mitigating controls and ensure effective implementation on an ongoing basis, which includes validating data from past periods and addressing the root cause for variations in the data; Coordinating with retail business teams to gather appropriate numbers, publish relevant reports, and perform actual vs. plan analysis to investigate and facilitate fixes for huge variances due to data quality issues; and Participating in process transformation projects to automate reporting including validating the report data pre and post automation along with workflow.
