Credit Risk Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Risk Senior Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Perform fundamental credit analysis of counterparties using both quantitative and qualitative approaches including financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and industry trends research. Use Capital IQ to source companies’ particulars including capital structure, acquisitions, and consensus estimates. Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings of counterparties based on assessment of client’s due diligence and industry knowledge. Facilitate credit transactions in a timely manner and cooperate with other stakeholders from Underwriting, Risk, and Corporate Banking. Use independent judgement to provide appropriate extensions of credit within the risk appetite. Use Bloomberg and FactSet to track LIBOR rate and debt issuance. Provide continuous monitoring of the covered portfolio, analyze industry trends and impacts to key relationships, and escalate potential credit issues to Underwriters, Independent Risk and Corporate Banking partners. Present credit related deck and provide recommendations across the sector to other stakeholders. Assist launch of UAT products. Remediate risk defects and maintain high standards of assigned relationships. Track policy updates internally and externally. Ensure credit products and reports comply with the latest policy. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Financial Mathematics or related field and 3 years of experience as a Credit Portfolio Analyst, Credit Risk Analyst, or related position involving financial modeling. 3 years of experience must include: Financial analytics; Accounting; and Capital IQ. 1 year of experience must include: Credit memo writing; and Analysis of credit products.
