Responsibilities
The Core Accounts Transformation Product Management Specialist is a critical part of Citi's transformation agenda. This individual applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new services and the improvement of processes and workflows for the area of deposit insurance and end of day processes and balances required by downstream systems for global processing of statements, billing, regulatory and internal reporting. You will apply your skills to improve and modernize integrations within the team and the broader banking ecosystems across the Services footprint. The candidate should enjoy gathering information, comparing options, prioritizing, and making recommendations to leadership and peers across various departments. As an individual contributor, the role demands strong communication and diplomacy to influence and partner for meeting deadlines and delivering innovative solutions on time.
Responsibilities:
- The Global End of Day and Deposit Insurance Product Management Specialist partners across product teams, assists in the ownership of the product(s) and monitors key drivers of performance
- Works on existing products or set of products, including global balance management activities and deposit insurance
- Applies in-depth knowledge, contributing to the development of new modernized workflows in a cloud-based ecosystem
- Manages a scrum team and is responsible for the management of a healthy product backlog and prioritization of the team’s work
- Integrates subject matter and industry knowledge to deliver against the modernization agenda for the in-scope services and broader business, as applicable
- Evaluates variable and, at times, complex issues with major impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations
- Strong analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources
- Manage ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products
- Communicate and build consensus and awareness of value proposition throughout the organization and key partners
- Prepare leadership materials and documents related processes, which ensures products are delivered and adhere to all business and regulatory parameters globally
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, implementations, and sales to deliver solutions for Citi clients
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline
- Experience in and understanding of the Services business preferred
- Ability to define options and make recommendations based on in depth analysis within the context of the broader business objectives
- Ability to think critically to analyze and resolve complicated and/or novel problem statements
- Apply diplomacy skills in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers
- Experience with and confidence in preparing and delivering presentations to clients and senior managers
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$96,400.00 - $144,600.00
