Business Intelligence Expert, VP

Senior BI Analyst is responsible for Dashboard and Report design /development using MicroStrategy and Tableau including data visualization, charts, graphs, data migration, ad-hoc reporting, and data validation.
Interaction with business Stakeholders is expected and to lead and enable the team leads in understanding the business requirements oftentimes translating to technical requirements and build end to end implementation
Strong analytical and critical thinking to interpret data. Ability to solve business problems using data, including data mining and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical walk-throughs to business and technology stakeholders.
  Understanding business operations, KPIs, and how data drives strategy.
• Ability to work on quick initial proof of concepts for business teams and ability to convert to final product.
• Assists in the training of end users or technical support staff to use applications
• Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Uses intuition and experience to complement data
• Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new development technologies
• Be able to work independently as well as within a global team.
• Finance domain knowledge will be added advantage.
• Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Able to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development/Business intelligence or systems analysis role
• Experience with all the components of MicroStrategy and Tableau suite including but not limited to Desktop, Web and Architecture Tools.
• Experience in MicroStrategy and Tableau advanced concepts must
  Must have strong experience in MicroStrategy and Tableau development in reports, dashboards, and documents.
• Ability to create complex reports requiring multiple parameters, summarizing data with crosstabs, using sections and section underlay for groups, LOD and related report functions.
• Experience in schema definition, design, implementation, and maintenance.
  Security implementation both dashboard and data level restriction must.
• Strong SQL database programming skills in developing highly performant reporting and business intelligence solutions.
• Python skill will be added advantage.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
