Talent Management Project Manager (C12)
TheTalent Management Project Manager sits within the Talent Planning team which leads the global approach to talent identification and succession planning – ensuring that Citi can develop a pipeline of future ready leaders to drive Citi’s business. Talent Planning sits within the Talent Strategy team which also includes talent programs, executive assessments and coaching, talent mobility, development and senior promotions. An integrated approach to Citi’s overall Talent Strategy is key to success as well an ensuring integration with broader HR teams – including HRAs, HR Delivery Partners, Learning and Performance Management. This role will be responsible as part of a team to deliver Citi’s annual talent review and other Talent Planning initiatives to support the overall Talent Strategy. The role requires a basic understanding of Talent Management best practice and how to engage key stakeholders in a complex matrixed organisation to achieve the desired outcomes. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and project management skills. Strong organisation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and attention to detail are also important in this role.
What you'll be doing:
- Manages operations of end-to-end annual Talent Review Process – liaising with key HR stakeholders to ensure seamless running of the process.
- Leverages data to provide insights for HR and the business on annual talent review components and broader talent strategy data.
- Provides subject matter expertise on annual Talent Review Process to HR colleagues and the business.
- Experienced in project management to ensure excellent delivery of BAU and new initiatives
- Collaborates with the Business, HRA/Recruiting/L&D, Talent Management and Engagement Partners, external experts etc., globally to execute successfully on the strategy
- In partnership with the business, Senior HR Officers (SHROs), HR Advisors (HRAs), Recruitment, Learning and Development (L&D) and other key partners, identifies, assesses and develops talent for the Bank of the future and ensures robust succession planning for in-scope roles.
- Implements and communicates key processes related to talent identification, succession planning and development. Ensuring alignment with other core HR processes – e.g. performance management
- Ensures that Talent outcomes are effectively analysed, reported and actioned and that Talent efficacy and controls measures are appropriately tracked.
- Participates in ongoing communication across the global business to engage all global employees in initiatives, processes and updates
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience managing or participating in projects and teams within the finance and 2 years in a professional management role

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
