Responsibilities
The Enterprise Business Architecture & Transformation Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business.Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.Requires basic commercial awareness.There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise.Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables.Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
As part of Business Architecture, the Process Modeling and Operations team supports business process management efforts through process modeling. The Business Architecture & Transformation Lead Analyst manages stakeholders through executing process modeling and simplification efforts across businesses and functions. This position will lead modeling engagements, helping business teams capture their process steps and process intelligence. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
Responsibilities:
- Lead stakeholders in the execution of process modeling and process simplification to increase operational efficiency, reduce process variation, and gaps in controls or customer experience; increase growth & innovation.
- Participates in assessing and incorporating ongoing business and regulatory needs into the Enterprise Business Architecture & Transformation business architecture
- Contributes to creating a standard Enterprise Business Architecture Technology Process through the collation and assessment of major Business Initiatives in conjunction with Business and Technology leads
- Contributes to the global implementation of common data and data standards, common processes and integrated technology platforms
- Participates in creating effective and efficient processes and governance
- Assists in enabling a foundational reporting infrastructure across Citi businesses and global functions by ensuring consistency within Enterprise Business Architecture & Transformation
- Advises on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business
- Implements policies and procedures
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred
- Proficient English
- Previous experience to manage and execute a portfolio of work related to process modeling.
- Strong experience partner with internal stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
