The Business Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of Compliance Communications. This support stays abreast of developments within Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) and Citi wide to provide directional operational support to the ICRM Chief of Staff.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide and influence in designated coverage areas and occasional stakeholders outside of immediate department. Significant impact on the area through quickly moving and multi-faceted deliverables. Work impacts across several areas within Compliance. Responsible for communicating clearly and professionally the details regarding work efforts completed or planned and working strategically across the team and specific projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete compliance related activities and reporting
  • Review data for accuracy and create required reporting to manage the data related to Compliance communications including volumes, click rates, turn times, etc.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Ability to create and maintain SharePoint content including page creation, movement, deletion, and frequent file updates.
  • Maintain governance requirements related to MCA control documentation and execution of MCA requirements.
  • Ownership and maintenance of Shared mailboxes and distribution lists used by ICRM communications.  Including maintain and updating FID, Shared Mailboxes, EDT inputs, etc.
  • ICRM engagement activity program support including ad hoc requests, support for yearly mentoring program, data cleanup
  • Administrative support for senior level ICRM meetings including townhalls, and other communication forums across the group
  • Additional duties as assigned including drive and support of departmental culture and operational related activities.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and formulas
  • Experience with databases and information management
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision; Takes initiative, identifies opportunities and consistently to take ownership, deliver with pride and willingness to perform and succeed as a team.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
