The Sec & Derivatives Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for product management in the FX and Treasury Operations teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify project resources, monitor work and budget, and mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement business initiatives, client solutions, and/or projects, particularly business mandatory, regulatory, and business discretionary workstreams where deadlines are inflexible and solutions are complex
  • Make appropriate decisions in line with critical deadlines, high priority project deliverables and sensitive clients, be an escalation point for arising issues
  • Develop, implement and track appropriate KPIs (key performance indicator) and SLAs (service level agreement) for the group
  • Ensure compliance while applying critical thinking to all controls and procedures in place in the department and improve them where possible
  • Provide an in-depth analysis and develop solutions to issues related to confirmations, processing, post-settlements, claims, and treasury operations
  • Capable of prompt objective diagnosis as to the root causes of deviation from / failure of procedures and the subsequent implementation of corrective action plans
  • Capable of owning and QA testing specific system enhancement test packages, ensuring scripts and testing are accurately completed prior to release in the production environment.
  • Interprets data and contributes to recommendations for target operating model alignment
  • Advise and coach new/lower level personnel
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Subject matter expert in at least one area of Securities and Derivatives processing
  • Advanced knowledge of hedge funds activities including calculation of Net Asset value (price), recording of corporate actions, reconciling cash and holdings, and pricing of securities
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$92,000.00 - $138,000.00
