Product Control Sr Analyst - Banking Controllers

The Prod Ctrl Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support consolidated financial reporting and control activities for the Global Banking team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly analysis of financial results for the Global Banking segment
• Coordinate control activities across the global team
• Serve as a subject matter expert for control and reporting matters to senior stakeholders and team members
• Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations
• Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources
• Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Prior Controller experience and knowledge of general ledger systems a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
