The Business Analytics Senior Analyst is a professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.

Responsibilities:

  • Runs population-wide Data Quality controls on trading and banking book trades using Tableau scorecards

  • Identifies and investigates recurring data concerns and addresses them with Technology and other stakeholders

  • Works closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving Data Quality control processes

  • Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to improve the quality of data supporting Credit Risk reporting

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of data analytic experience

  • Familiar with the financial markets’ instruments and Credit Risk

  • Proficient in MS-Excel and data analytics (Tableau / Power BI)

  • Comfortable working with large data volumes

  • Data tracing, Data mining, visualization, analysis – identifying patterns/trends, exploratory data analysis, root cause analysis

  • Experience in interacting across multiple teams including remote teams

  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.

  • This position requires excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to present to business partners and/or leaders to gain approvals

  • Project and process management skills

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • Self-starter who also has a demonstrated ability to work successfully in team environment and drive


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$77,280.00 - $115,920.00
