Europe Corporate Banking Relationship Delivery Team Lead (SVP/C14)
An exciting opportunity to lead the development of a new team within Europe Corporate Banking of client facing Relationship Associates focused on managing client on-boarding and relationship management across multiple client segments and geographies.
Work closely in partnership across the Banking and TTS Sales team and client to identifying opportunities to enhance the clients existing solutions focusing on revenue expansion and retention of existing business.
Responsible for working with key stakeholders to drive deals through Implementation ensuring ramp up of revenue, product adoption and driving digital agenda for the clients.
Drive the Client experience by being a client advocate in managing the Citi network, +100 countries to ensure client satisfaction and retention of business. Ensuring proactive communication with key decision makers within the client organization as well as the internal client team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with clients and work closely with business partners across Banking, TTS, ICM and Operations to deliver the cross-product client experience and delivery
- Work with Banking and TTS Solution Sales & Product Sales Managers to ensure understanding of key TTS Sales activities for portfolio drive completion of projects through product adoption and revenue realization
- Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the current banking relationship, return hurdles, relationship strategy and contributes to development and execution of account plans
- Deep knowledge of client's business and operations, industry trends, competitive positioning, etc
- Provide support where necessary for the coordination of critical projects with relevant stakeholders within Banking and business partners such as Implementation of new solutions, VOC feedback and associated action plans
- Support CITIKYC/AML requirements for new business opportunities for a defined portfolio of clients.
- Ensure oversight and management of KYC renewal processes within the business lines to align with the functions
- Client lead on routine, ad hoc requests, problem escalation, identification and execution of solutions to client issues, and the negotiation of routine credit and parent support documentation
- Clear focus on business goals. Strategic steps taken to align personal goals with key objectives at an industry/country team level
- Ability to identify the impact of change and developments on the client and help manage the impact with client and partners
- Lead role in sharing best practices, knowledge, innovation, problem solving
- Identifies potential areas of improvement, and actively addresses these
- Where required, lead client communication of business and product migrations, regulatory changes and market updates for portfolio being a client advocate internally and support driving the change management agenda for clients
- Be the client advocate to ensure Client issues are addressed promptly working with partners in Banking, Service, ICM, and Operations. Be responsible for driving superior client satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with credit, risk, and sales processes where applicable
- Partner with TTS Solution Sales to share feedback on Product requirements / Gaps
- Manage documentation deficiency and deferral process for assigned portfolio working with Risk and Compliance to ensure adherence to Citi policies
- Ensure AML enquiries handled promptly and thoughtfully ensuring adherence to Citi policies
- Day to day management of the team including involvement in recruiting, developing talent and providing on-the-job training
Qualifications:
- Ideally 10+ years in Banking and/or cash management and trade product experience
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of other banking products
- Proven experience in managing teams
- Managed large client relationships from a banking or product perspective
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Persuasive and articulate personality
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal internally and externally with clients
- Demonstrated organizational & planning skills
- Ability to manage & synthesize many pieces of solution / technical data into a single, flowing solution within tight timeline
- Proven leadership skills
- Substantial knowledge of Citi's product range
- Recognized execution skills
- English plus another European language advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and diplomacy skills to manage internal and client relationships and engage with Senior Management both Client and Citi
- Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills
