AML Analyst Transfer Agency Operations

Team/Role Overview
The role of AML Analyst within Transfer Agency is to act as a subject matter expert in a team of AML analysts, in a busy deadline driven operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in progressing periodic review for Citi clients with funds domiciled in Dublin, Luxembourg, Cayman Islands and Bermuda. Citibank Europe PLC provides transfer agency services for these funds and the AML and Registration team perform AML due diligence at investor level.
What you’ll do
- Completion of periodic review of investors in scope for the review cycle in line with defined targets
- Identification, review and escalation of red flags as they arise
- Timely follow up with investors regarding outstanding AML documentation and update of records in this regard.
- Maintenence of investor records in line with departmental procedures
- Preparation of investor files as required for internal reviews, client or MLRO due diligence.
- Participation in client calls to provide status updates and manage client queries.
- Preparation of management information related to progress of periodic review for internal stakeholders, fund MLROs and clients.
- Ongoing monitoring of investors on a risk based approach
What we’ll need from you
- AML experience, preferably in Transfer Agency
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to work independently to achieve goals
- Knowledge of fund services and product types
- Knowledge of AML legislation from an Ireland and Luxembourg perspective an advantage
- Experience in a client facing role
- Proficient understanding of emerging technologies
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Effective analytical and presentation skills
