Citi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to spearhead its Equity Advisory Sales efforts in the dynamic MENA region. This is a unique opportunity to build a significant business within a leading global bank, focusing on the rapidly growing MENA equity market. Based in Dubai, you will play a pivotal role in expanding

Citi's presence and driving trading revenues by connecting regional and international investors with MENA equities (KSA, UAE, and the rest of the GCC). As the on-the-ground Advisory Salesperson for Citi in the MENA region, you will have the chance to shape the future of this critical business line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of institutional clients, including both regional and international investors focused on MENA equities.

  • Provide clients with insightful market intelligence, investment ideas, and tailored equity research.

  • Proactively identify and onboard new clients, expanding Citi's market share in the MENA region.

  • Collaborate closely with research analysts and investment bankers to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

  • Drive revenue generation through the sale of equity research and other relevant financial products.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting the MENA equity landscape.

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Citi's products and services to clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in institutional equity sales, preferably with MENA clients.

  • Strong understanding of equity products, research methodologies, and valuation techniques.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective identification of client needs and development of tailored solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management principles within the financial services industry.

In order to comply with the requirements of the Certification Regime, Citi entities must take reasonable care to ensure that an employee does not perform a Certified Role without first being certified as Fit and Proper. For this reason, you will be assessed for this role against the Fit and Proper requirements, as described above.

This assessment will be carried out through extensive interviews, self-disclosures, permitted criminal record checks, regulated reference checks, credit checks and other background screening checks.
