This role focuses on leading the TTS business in Mexico, successfully develop and execute the strategy and plans for growing the TTS franchise in the country. Current Business Size: Revenues: US$ 830MM, Drivers:  Liabilities: USD$20 BN, Assets: US$2.0 BN, Headcount: 135 and 3,000 clients.

The Mexico TTS Head works in partnership with the Global TTS Product Heads to define the product strategy for the country. This includes product offering definition, new product development and alignment with operations and technology to guarantee the country has the right infrastructure to deliver the TTS solutions to our clients, while complying with Risk and Control requirements.

The role is responsible for the TTS clients’ sales origination, pipeline development, client revenue growth and retention for parent companies and subsidiaries in the cluster, including some of our largest and most complex clients in Latin America.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement and execute business strategy to support our organic and inorganic growth targets.

- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Mexico product business including oversight of the P&L management and budgeting

- Partner with the Latam TTS EXCO, Mexico´s Business Line Heads, Technology and Operations to ensure full alignment to execute the TS strategy.                                            

 -Deliver the financial commitments in a fast-growing market – drive a balanced scorecard

- Ensure the TTS business runs within a compliance environment, including Product Approval Programs and satisfactory ARRs.  Maintain a pristine control environment

- Grow the underlying business drivers – maximizing returns

- In alignment with the Regional Product Heads ensure product superiority and profitability of current products and new product development

 -Partner with Operations & Technology to assure product delivery within standards and to reengineer existing products to gain efficiency and market expansion.

- Support inbound / outbound opportunities with key Latin America parented customers expanding globally across regions helping to meet their global TTS needs

- Drive TTS Sales processes and sales disciplines, including customer needs analysis, budgeting, wallet sizing, account planning, and ICG relationship reviews

- Work in collaboration with partners in Client Operations, Client Experience, Implementation, Technology, Product and the Client Success team to contribute towards positive Voice of the Client results

- Drive Mexico Results based on Key measures: Revenue, Pipeline, Wins and Origination growth as well as ensure call intensity

 -Create and strengthen a “One Citi” environment to maximize the cross-sell potential of the firm

- Drive overall customer centric experience initiative. Senior lead and contact for our key customers

- Expand TTS market presence through customer events, media, speaking engagements etc.

- Ensure TTS is the “Employer of Choice” in order to attract, motivate and retain top talent. Focus on building and maintaining high performing teams. Create and maintain a diverse, inclusive and well-balanced employee population

Knowledge/Experience:

- Proven track record of successfully managing a large and complex business with P&L management experience

- An accomplished Business Manager who understands the Cash, and Trade businesses and has the ability and drive to motivate business and team performance.

- 15+ years business management experience with in-depth experience in Cash or Trade and client sales management with senior corporate professionals.

- Results-driven person with very strong communication skills

- Recognized for his or her execution skills

- Digital banking acumen

- Excellent client interaction skills especially with large global organizations with multiple wallets in multiple locations

-10+ years direct people management experience, including senior teams.

-Strong and demonstrated leadership skills managing a diverse team with the ability to motivate and influence, foster innovation. Superior problem analysis/solving, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

-Strong ability to manage in a matrix environment

Excellent client interaction skills especially with large global organizations with multiple wallets in multiple locations. Strong negotiation and influencing skills

- Proven track record in running and growing a business.

-P&L Management experience

- Fluent in both written and conversational Spanish and English

Qualifications/Competencies

-Undergraduate Degree, MBA preferred.

- Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills; ability to conceptualize and execute on the business vision

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to influence and build consensus. Strong teamwork and relationship building skills

- Ability to work with multiple organizations and stakeholders, including Senior Management

- Competent in allocating resources across multiple priorities with varying levels of complexity

-High level of personal integrity and interest in developing the Mexico TTS business

-Articulate in written and verbal communication skills, financial acumen

-Ability to think through a process to get it to the next level independently

-Propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content

-Proven track record of success

-Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an extremely time-sensitive environment
